Personal Journey

From a young age in Afghanistan, I realized the power of education and community. At just 12 years old, I began volunteering, driven by a deep desire to create change in the lives of others. Over time, this passion turned into purpose leading to the founding of Generation of Thinkers, a youth-led organization empowering over 13,000 young Afghans, especially girls, through education, leadership, and skill-building.
Despite facing limitations such as conflict, economic hardship, and restricted access to quality education, I remained committed. My journey has taken me from remote villages where girls had no access to learning, to international platforms where I now advocate for equality, education, and sustainable development.
I’ve had the privilege to earn certifications from institutions like Cornell University, lead global dialogues through Doha Debates, and pursue dual degrees in Politics and International Studies and Business Administration — all while mentoring students, organizing TEDx events, and building apps like Chakar, a tourism and travel platform for Afghanistan.
This journey has not been easy — I’ve worked under pressure, overcome self-doubt, and learned through failure. But each step has shaped me into a resilient leader who believes that change begins with one voice, one action, and one idea. Now, my mission is clear: Empower the next generation of thinkers and doers, create impact beyond borders, and continue building bridges between passion and purpose.
